The White Wall was proud to deliver the fabrication- full build and decoration for Pirates!, a dynamic temporary exhibition at the National Maritime Museum.

Working within a live gallery environment, we developed and installed a series of curved and straight setworks walls using FSC-certified timber and 18mm MDF. These were designed to support 2D object displays without floor fixings, and were fully pre-fabricated in our workshop for a smooth, non-invasive installation on site.

Over 1,300m² of surfaces were decorated across the exhibition, including a six-colour emulsion scheme applied to both setworks and gallery walls. Integrated lightboxes were installed and detailed finishing was executed.

The project was delivered in close collaboration with curators, designers, conservators, and the museum — bringing the world of pirates to life with precision and care.

Pirates! is open at National Maritime Museum until January 2026.
