The White Wall was commissioned to deliver the technical design, fabrication, and installation of Feel the Sound, an immersive, sound-based exhibition at the Barbican.

This multi-sensory experience required a diverse range of fabrication techniques. We used CNC machining to sculpt high-quality hardwoods and laser-cut aluminium components to form the structural framework of the transitional spaces.

Drawing on our expertise in acoustics, we engineered large-scale sound baffles and carefully selected materials that echo the tactile and visual language of professional sound equipment. Working closely with a leading design studio, we brought the concept to life over five months of development, followed by a one-month on-site installation.

Feel the Sound is open to the public until Sunday, 31st August 2025.
