Kiluanji Kia Henda, Tate Modern
A City Called Mirage, 2023
Technical design and fabrication of an artwork structure that can be assembled multiple times. The artwork is made from 1″ x 1″ x 10 SWG and ¾ x ¾ x 10 SWG Square Box section with a spigot assembly system for each nodal point.
The interior base of the sculpture has a silver mirror effect and tricoya panelling.
The artwork was featured in ‘A World In Common: Contemporary African Photography’ exhibition at the Tate Modern in May 2023.
