Technical design, fabrication, and installation of Candelstar’s Prix Pictet exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum, South Kensington.

The six intersecting walls were constructed exposed frames made of PAR woodex timber stained with a grey woodye, they were then clad in 18mm FR MDF, filled and painted for a seamless finish.
The installation also included 10 back LED lit art works, 2 benches and a leaflet shelf. As well as building the exhibition our team were also responsible for installing all art work.

There were only 6 days allocated for the on-site build of the exhibition walls and another 2 days for the artwork installation. Wherever possible components were fabricated off site to allow for a safe and effective installation during the limited accessible time on site. All operations were according to the CDM, access and security requirements of the V & A Museum.
