Technical design, fabrication and installation of the 2024 Fourth Plinth artwork commission. The White Wall Company fabricated a subtle steel armature and structural fixing sysem to display 726 plaster cast faces. We worked closely with the Artist and her Team to ensure that every participant’s name and details of their casting was recorded and tracked through preparation, protection, and mounting work. We installed the artwork in Trafaglar Square using a MEWP, a 50T crane, and our bespoke steel lifting frame designed to allow the piece to travel safely airbourne.
